Our beautiful sanctuary!

Our vibrant congregation is a warm and friendly, multi-generational, extended family. We are dedicated to the religious, cultural, educational and social aspirations of our members.  The Nanuet Hebrew Center, located in New City, NY, has served Greater Rockland County for close to 70 years.  We are actively affiliated with the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism and with the Jewish Federation of Rockland County.

There is always something for everyone at the Nanuet Hebrew Center.  Our services have a special beauty and comfort for all.  Adult Education, such as our Monday Lunchtime Torah study, Bnai Torah Classes and our Zing Zest & Pizzazz Torathons reminds us that learning is for life.  We are also proud of our Religious School, Men’s Club, Sisterhood, Book Discussion Group, Annual Israel Birthday Party, Havdallah (as well as Deli or Dairy) Gatherings, Arts Festival, Coffee Houses and even our Gift Shop.  These are just a few of the many wonderful things going on at our Shul.

Thank You … to all who helped coordinate and participate in the May 16^th NHC Family BBQ, May 23^rd Salute to Israel Parade and post-parade BBQ.  These were all very successful events for the NHC.

Tuesday July 27th - Sisterhood Early Bird Paid Up Membership Pool Party - 4:30 pm – 7 pm at the home of Gail Kaiser.  If you have not already paid your membership dues, please bring a check for $28.  A light supper will be served and our new offices will be installed.  RSVP by July 20th to Ellen Rifken or Renee Leffler.    Please contact Ellen, Renee, Rose or Naomi [or the NHC office] for more information or directions.
